Run through these checks with the company a few days before the installation is due to take place.

1. Check that the server has a static IP address

3. Disable UAC if applicable
4. Reboot the server

Copy all of these files to a folder called Aventa_Install on the drive with the most space. Extract the archived folders to this location.

1. Run setup.exe found in Aventa_Install\Database_x**\Install. Use the following settings on each screen, pressing Next or Install to continue.

This change needs to be made to the two sqlnet.ora files on the server, these are found in each ORACLE_HOME

a. On the server open ORACLE_HOME\NETWORK\ADMIN\sqlnet.ora, this should look similar to the below:

NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH=(LDAP,TNSNAMES,EZCONNECT,ONAMES,HOSTNAME)

b. Remove NTS, LDAP,ONAMES, HOSTNAME from this as below
